Steps for Google Business (Business Messages) Integration

Prerequisites

Business Communications account by accessing the URL: https://business-communications.cloud.google.com

Steps

With your Business Communications account already created, start the setup:

  • Create Brand: In the Partner Account menu, locate the Brands option to create your business, which is the brand you'll integrate with. Provide the requested information.

  • Create Agent: In the Partner Account menu, locate the User option to configure the agent. Here, they will request various mandatory public data and the client's terms and conditions, for example. It's also important in this configuration step to define the primary integration (whether a human or a bot will handle the interaction first) and the secondary integration.

  • Configure Location: Specify the physical location where the company is established.

  • Configure Integration: The key aspect in this option is configuring the Webhook. To do this, you need the URL provided by Lynn. Go to Lynn's channel settings and locate the URL required at the end of the configuration window. Copy that URL and paste it into the Webhook configuration window in Business Communications.

  • Deploy: Up to this step, the previously created agent is in test mode, and verification is necessary. Go to the Deploy menu and click Verify. Once the agent is verified, locate the Launch option in the menu. In this step, you need to specify the region where the agent will be in production.
