Steps for Apple Business Integration

Prerequisites:

  • Create a Messages for Business account, which includes registering your organization to use the Messages for Business service. For more information, refer to the following link: https://register.apple.com/resources/messages/messaging-documentation/register-your-acct
  • In the infobip portal https://portal.infobip.com/, access the admin account from which you'll obtain the necessary data for integration from Lynn.
  • Once logged into infobip, create an API Key by navigating to Developer Tools in the API Keys section and clicking the "CREATE API KEY" button.

Steps:

With your Apple Business account already created, initiate the configuration in Lynn:

Apple Application ID (APPLE_BUSINESS_APP_ID): Text field where you should enter the ID obtained from the infobip portal under the Conversations menu in the Settings section under the number/page field.

Service Account Key (APPLE_BUSINEES_API_KEY): Text field where you should input the API Key obtained from the infobip portal. To do this, navigate to Developer Tools in the API Keys section and copy the API Key created as a prerequisite.

Configured timeout to detect inactivity and close the interaction. Maximum 7200 seconds (2 hours) (APPLE_BUSINESS_TIMEOUT_SECONDS): Numeric field where you should enter the time in seconds for the timeout setting.

Once the channel creation in Lynn is completed, grab the WebHook provided by the channel and add it to the chatbot configuration in infobip as shown in the image. It's important to note that to carry out this process, the chatbot must be inactive initially, and after making the modification, activate it.
