Steps for Sinch Integration
Prerequisites
In the Sinch portal, you must create an account.
Once you have logged into your Sinch account, go to the dashboard. Look for the account settings menu, specifically the section related to API keys and credentials.
Configuration Steps in Lynn
With your Sinch account already created, you can start setting up the channel in Lynn
1- Create a new WhatsApp channel from the flow designer in the configure channel option.
2- Select the WhatsApp Channel and then Sinch WhatsApp.
Channel Configuration Parameters
Configured WhatsApp number (SI_WHATSAPP_API_NUMBER): This text field is where you must enter the phone number configured in the Sinch interface, which will be used for the WhatsApp service.
The URL of the Sinch API to which messages will be sent (SI_WHATSAPP_URL): The URL of the Sinch API for sending WhatsApp messages is usually something like: "https://whatsapp.api.sinch.com/v1/messages".
Sinch WhatsApp username (SI_WHATSAPP_USERNAME): The Sinch username for WhatsApp will be provided when you set up your Sinch account.
Sinch WhatsApp API key (SI_WHATSAPP_API_KEY): The Sinch API key for WhatsApp is also provided when you set up your account and enable the WhatsApp service.
Timeout configured to detect inactivity and close the interaction. Maximum 7200 sec (2 hours) (WHATSAPP_TIMEOUT_SECONDS): This numeric field is where you must enter the wait time in seconds.
Present Menu as Text, Button, or List (WHATSAPP_MENU_PRESENTATION): Dropdown list where you must select the menu presentation format. This can be as text, button, or list.
Language for presenting the default elements of the interactive menu (WHATSAPP_MENU_PRESENTATION_LANGUAGE): Dropdown list where you must select the language to present the menu.
